Behavioral Medicine<\/h2>\n

If you or someone you know is having a difficult time coping, or struggles with anxiety or depression, the Behavioral Medicine<\/a> staff at Student Health Services can help.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>They offer many services to keep students healthy, including assessments and referrals for individuals, a Graduate Support Group and Mindfulness\u00a0Meditation. \u00a0The providers at\u00a0Behavioral Medicine<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be reached at 617-353-3569.<\/p>\n

Student Accommodations<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Accommodations and support services are available to ensure that\u00a0students have access to academic, social, cultural and recreational programs.\u00a0 Available services\u00a0include auxiliary aids such as sign-language interpreters, exam accommodations, note taking services, text in alternative format, and assistive technology.\u00a0 Strategic Education Services (SES)\u00a0are available for students with conditions that may affect\u00a0academic progress on a continuing basis, including ADHD, head injuries, mood disorders, eating disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, and autism spectrum disorders, including Asperger\u2019s. Accommodations are provided on a case-by-case basis depending on the individual\u2019s diagnosis and documented needs. SES\u00a0is a free, individualized, one-to-one weekly\u00a0strategy session, where an individual’s skills are developed in several areas, including organization, test taking, interpersonal skills and self-advocacy.<\/p>\n
