His scholarly research focuses on tourism and hospitality, leading and participating in several projects related to wineries, hotels, and restaurants. He is author of more than 70 peer-reviewed journal articles (e.g., <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">International Journal of Hospitality Management<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tourism Management<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), trade articles, and book chapters; and recipient of several grants and fellowships from the national and regional governments, and private companies. He serves as an editorial review board member of several peer-reviewed journals. He has presented research at international conferences, such as the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">European Marketing Academy<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Academy of Marketing Science<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">World Research Summit for Hospitality and Tourism<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and so on.
