I defended my PhD at Boston University School of Medicine at the end of 2019 where I did my dissertation work in the laboratory of Dr. Rachel Fearns studying the proteins involved RSV transcription and genome replication. In early 2020, I started a postdoc at Stanford University in the laboratory of Dr. Karla Kirkegaard where I worked on two projects studying the development of antivirals towards the PLpro protease of SARS-CoV-2 and the role of a long non-coding RNA in the T cell response to immune triggers. In late 2021, I started working at Vaxart, Inc in South San Francisco where I am involved in clinical and pre-clinical studies of oral tablet vaccines for infectious diseases and cancer.<\/p>\n
