Assistant Professor of Biotechnology at UNH Manchester

The University of New Hampshire at Manchester is seeking an Assistant Professor of Biotechnology with research programs in tissue biology and teaching experience in biology/biotechnology. Primary teaching responsibility for the position is the development and teaching of a course for Masters’ and advanced undergraduate students in Tissue Engineering. The successful candidate will also teach one or more other courses within the Biotechnology Program, such as Protein & Immunologic Techniques, Biotechnology Products & Regulation, or other relevant courses within the candidate’s area of expertise.

Especially relevant to this position is the 2020 planned launch of a new M.S. in Biotechnology degree and the close relationship between UNH Manchester and the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI). Our brand-new research and teaching laboratory space (including state-of-the-art cell culture and biomanufacturing laboratory facilities) and the proximity of new tissue engineering companies in the Manchester Millyard provide an exciting opportunity for tissue biologists with an interest in teaching, research, and industry collaboration.
