{"id":640,"date":"2024-10-23T13:48:28","date_gmt":"2024-10-23T17:48:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/bdc\/?post_type=profile&#038;p=640"},"modified":"2026-01-14T15:47:43","modified_gmt":"2026-01-14T20:47:43","slug":"trevor-siggers","status":"publish","type":"profile","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/bdc\/profile\/trevor-siggers\/","title":{"rendered":"Trevor Siggers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The goal of my laboratory\u2019s research is a systems-level understanding of immune cell responses through integrative proteomic and genomic study of transcription factors (TFs).\u00a0It is our vision that a biophysical understanding of TF function combined with genome-scale data will lead to quantitative models that can describe immune signaling in healthy and disease states. We have current projects investigating the interferon regulatory factors (IRF) proteins that regulate the anti-viral response, the type II nuclear receptors that coordinate metabolism and inflammation, and the macrophage lineage factors PU.1 and IRF8.
