My name is Lex Stearns (they\/them) and I&#8217;m a sophomore studying English and French. I&#8217;ve been playing french horn since I was ten and started mellophone my freshman year of high school for marching band and just haven&#8217;t stopped since. Outside of band, I love reading (big surprise), watching either hockey or baseball, and hanging out with my friends. Can&#8217;t wait for the season to start!<\/p>\n<p><b>What is your favorite part of being a band member? <\/b>My favorite part has definitely been the people and the community I&#8217;ve found through band. It&#8217;s such a great and special group of people I can&#8217;t imagine what my first year was like without having the friends I made in band, from all different majors, background, and years.
