I received my undergraduate degree from UNC at Chapel Hill in psychology, minoring in biology and mathematical decision science. As an undergraduate, I worked in a cognitive psychology lab investigating language processing in adults, and I also worked at TEACCH studying the effects of an intervention therapy on teenagers with autism. After graduation, I completed a two-year research assistantship at the University of Maryland’s Child Development Lab. My research interests include language acquisition and the underlying neural mechanisms in both children with and without autism.
