More specifically, we are interested in looking at repetitive speech, also called &#8216;echolalia,&#8217; in children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.<\/p>\n<h4>If you are interested in participating in Project ECHO, please click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/autism\/?page_id=7637&amp;preview=true\">here<\/a> to fill out our initial eligibility form.<\/h4>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Who can participate?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Children ages 2 years 6 months to 6 years 11 months with no known developmental delays or disorders<\/li>\n<li>Children ages 2 years 6 months to 6 years 11 months with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder\/ASD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>What does the study involve?<\/h4>\n<p>During one to two visits to Boston University, your child will&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>play and chat with a researcher while wearing a non-invasive fNIRS cap (read more about fNIRS <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/autism\/approaches\/neuroimaging-2\/\">here<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Complete play-based assessments with a researcher<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>What will we receive for participating?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Gift card compensation for your visit(s)<\/li>\n<li>Small prize for your child to take home<\/li>\n<li>Free parking<\/li>\n<li>Report of your child&#8217;s performance on assessments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>How can we participate?<\/h4>\n<p>Here is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/autism\/project-echo-screener-form\/\">link<\/a> to our screening form. This form will ask your questions about your child&#8217;s development.
