I am a postdoctoral research fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital and Visiting Researcher in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at BU. I received my Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Harvard University. I am interested in evaluating developmental pathways by which early psychosocial experiences and neurodevelopmental processes shape risk and resilience for social difficulties, in order to guide development of effective interventions for at-risk children. My current projects in the Labs of Cognitive Neuroscience at Boston Children’s Hospital focus on the impact of early experiences on trajectories of brain maturation and social development. As part of the TESLA project team at CARE, my research explores patterns of brain function and connectivity associated with the development of early social communication skills in young children with autism.
