Video: Korean and U.S. Trade: Understanding KORUS-FTA
In December 2010, the United States and the Republic of Korea agreed to a revised framework of the free trade agreement known as KORUS-FTA. The revised agreement will reduce tariffs between the two countries by 95% in the next five years. On February 25, 2011, representatives from the Embassy of Republic of Korea in Washington, D.C. (Consul Won-kyong Kim) and the United States Chamber of Commerce (Mr. Sean Connell) discussed this agreement and what it means for both countries economically.
Mr. Kim is a Consular officer at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Washington D.C. Mr. Connell also served on the US-Korea FTA Business Coalition.
