The event occurred on March 26, 2018 at 7pm in the Tsai Performance Center. The event was free and open to the public but a reservation was necessary to ensure admittance. The poster includes a picture of Zadie Smith and an event description that reads: \u201cThe acclaimed writer Zadie Smith was born in North London in 1975 to an English father and a Jamaican mother. Her first novel, White Teeth (2000), has been translated into over twenty languages. On Beauty was named one of the Ten Best Books of 2012 by The New York Times. She is a regular contributor to The New Yorker and The New York Review of Books.
