According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/artsadmin\/faculty-staff\/lew-karabatsos\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lew Karabatsos<\/a>, Lecturer<!--more-->, &#8220;This is a great opportunity to not only recognize\u00a0the work of BU alums, but also highlight a successful\u00a0BU social media fundraising campaign as a learning tool for our students.&#8221; Phil and Stephanie\u00a0will focus their presentation on the importance of including\u00a0social media as an integral component of any fundraising campaign. \u00a0Drawing upon their collective experience, they will help students understand how to attract and retain\u00a0individual donors using a multi-dimensional social media fundraising plan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Phil DiMartino<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Phil DiMartino is the Associate Director of Annual Giving, Digital Programs at Boston University where he leverages social media, rich multimedia content, and special programs and events to engage alumni in meaningful ways. Prior to BU, Phil was Assistant Creative Director for a Boston-based content marketing and event platform company where his focus was on developing and managing online campaigns using video content. He holds a BS in Broadcast Journalism from BU\u2019s College of Communication.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stephanie Quinn<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stephanie Quinn is the Director of Annual Giving at Boston University, where her team drives the strategy and execution of direct marketing in support of BU\u2019s $1.5 billion comprehensive campaign. She oversees the use of predictive modeling, A\/B testing, and data analysis to develop and deploy effective fundraising efforts across email-, social-, web-, phone-, and print-based channels. Prior to joining Development &amp; Alumni Relations, Stephanie spent five years in high tech marketing at EMC.
