Salary ranges from $28,000 to $30,000, depending on experience.<\/p>\n<h4><b>DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span>Primary responsibilities of the Education Programs Manager include:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Education:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>With the Director of Education, design and implementation of the vision and strategic plan for all Education programs and partnerships;<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Outreach and coordination with diverse stakeholders, including youth, families, school teachers and administrators, CST Teaching Artists, community partners, funders, board members, and others;<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Coordination of education programs, curricula, and resource materials;<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>General administrative duties supporting core programming at CST and off-site residencies (processing registrations, fielding phone\/email inquiries, organization of materials, marketing efforts, space scheduling, etc.);<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Managing booking, casting, contracts, and other logistical details for YU Ambassador touring performances;<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Serving as Lead Teaching Artist for one or more residencies or other education programs (specific programs to be determined by Education Programs Manager, in consultation with Director of Education);<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Hiring, training, and oversight of Teaching Artists, Teaching Assistants, Education interns, and other education programming staff.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>Collaboration:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Collaboration with Marketing team to design and maintain YU\u2019s web and social media presence;<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Collaboration with Development team to support Education-related grants and audience engagement;<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Collaboration with Production Manager and Patron Services team to support school matinees, Youth Underground performances, and Mainstage auxiliary programming that relates to Education.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><b>QUALIFICATIONS<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span>Candidate should have\u00a0<\/span><b>3+ years of theater education experience<\/b><span>, ideally including some work in-school as a teaching artist. Some experience working with a diverse group of stakeholders is preferred. Administrative experience encouraged. Passion for theater education is essential. The ideal candidate appreciates the power of theater to transform the lives of young people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Additionally, these skills are essential:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Comfortable with G Suite and Google (or Word\/Excel), or willingness to be trained;<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with a positive attitude;<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Excellent organizational and communication skills;<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, with and without hard deadlines;<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Creativity and resourcefulness required;<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff across departments;<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Calm, flexibility, and a sense of humor.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>In-person programs and meetings take place at Central Square Theater in Cambridge; administrative work can take place at CST or remote. The schedule can be flexible.
