The student will have the opportunity to learn about individual and institutional giving, gift entry, database management, administrative operations, working for a multinational organization, music education, and applied ethnomusicology.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h4><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Job Title<\/span>: Development &amp; Operations Intern<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Hours\/Week<\/span>: 10<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Compensation<\/span>: Academic Credit<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Location<\/span>: Boston, MA &#8211; Hybrid<\/p>\n<h4><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Gift Entry<\/li>\n<li>Gift Acknowledgement<\/li>\n<li>Database Management\/Clean-Up<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining Monthly Giving Programs<\/li>\n<li>Grant Research &amp; Tracking<\/li>\n<li>Contacting Corporate Partners<\/li>\n<li>Event Support<\/li>\n<li>Support Accounting Reconciliation<\/li>\n<li>Support Bank Deposits and Database Reconciliation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The intern should be based in Washington, DC or the Greater Boston area and will be able to work in a hybrid format. JYC acknowledges that interns are students first, and the schedule is flexible to accommodate class attendance and coursework. Through the co-creation of music and the sharing of stories, JYC empowers young singers from East and West Jerusalem to speak and sing their truths as they become leaders in their communities and inspire singers and listeners around the world.
