This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced performing arts environment. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Term<\/strong>: June 1\u2013August 15, 2026 (approximately 11 weeks)<br \/>\n<strong>Hours<\/strong>: 20 hours per week<\/p>\n<h4><strong>ARTISTIC RELATIONS<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Support the Artistic Director and Artistic Administrator in the execution of the Rockport Chamber Music Festival\u2014Rockport Music\u2019s flagship five-week classical festival (June 10\u2013July 12, 2026).<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with artist relations, communications, hospitality, and logistics.<\/li>\n<li>Create individual artist itineraries and weekly festival schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate closely with the Artistic Administrator and Production team on rehearsals, transportation, and artist needs.<\/li>\n<li>Support on-site artist services, rehearsals, and related events as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>MARKETING<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Assist with marketing and communications initiatives that promote Rockport Music to local, regional, and national audiences.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create and write social media content.<\/li>\n<li>Post concert and event listings on regional event calendars.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with design and editing of marquee signage, video monitors, sandwich boards, posters, and flyers.<\/li>\n<li>Distribute weekly calendars promoting concerts.<\/li>\n<li>Collect and organize artist photos, bios, program descriptions, and HD broadcast materials.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with concert programs, inserts, and promotional materials distribution.<\/li>\n<li>Support public relations efforts, including drafting press materials and maintaining press archives.<\/li>\n<li>Take photos at concerts and community events.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct market research and update marketing databases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>EDUCATION<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Support Rockport Music\u2019s education and community engagement programs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with family concerts at the Shalin Liu Performance Center, including pre-concert activities.<\/li>\n<li>Support preparation and execution of Community Day events.<\/li>\n<li>Assist during docent hours leading a takeaway activity for families.<\/li>\n<li>Aid in Jazz Workshop preparations.<\/li>\n<li>Potential opportunity to serve as a dedicated Jazz Workshop intern for two weeks (July 26\u2013August 8).
