administration, development and fundraising, marketing, and overall nonprofit organizational management.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Marketing Internship<\/h3>\n<p>Interns at JMBT gain a general understanding of arts management and the operations of non-profit organizations as well as the important role marketing plays in the success of every non-profit organization by having a hands-on role in marketing initiatives.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span>RESPONSIBILITIES:\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Social Media management\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maintain social media calendar and posting schedule<\/li>\n<li>Taking photos and videos of daily JMBT classes<\/li>\n<li>Keep up to date with ongoing social media trends<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Creation and distribution of marketing materials\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assisting in distribution campaigns of flyers<\/li>\n<li>Assisting in mailing campaigns of postcards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Brand management and market research<\/li>\n<li>Database maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Completing online marketing listings and ads<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with marketing phone calls<\/li>\n<li>On-site support for events<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span>QUALIFICATIONS<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional writing and proofreading skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience with WordPress, Constant Contact, and Canva<\/li>\n<li>Photography and video skills, experience with photo and video editing<\/li>\n<li>Exceptionally well organized with the ability to multitask<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills Internship<\/h3>\n<p>Interns at JMBT gain a general understanding of arts management and the operations of non-profit organizations as well as how school programming plays an important role in the success of our non-profit organization.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span>RESPONSIBILITIES:\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>General reception desk duties, including assisting students, parents, faculty, and renters as needed<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with scheduling of all studio programs, including Young Dancers Program, Adult classes, Teen classes, YouthWorks, and more<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with planning of school activities and other programs, including The Nutcracker, Open Houses, Spring Repertory Concerts, YouthWorks, Year End Demonstrations, and more<\/li>\n<li>Responding to inquiries of new and existing students, especially phone calls<\/li>\n<li>Assisting in registration, trial and placement classes of new students<\/li>\n<li>Database maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Organization and care of studio facilities<\/li>\n<li>On-site support for events<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 SCHEDULE AND BENIFITS:<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>JMBT asks for a commitment of 10-20 hours per week. Interns may receive academic credit for their participation in the internship program. Active interns are eligible for complimentary tickets to performances and free adult ballet classes.<\/p>\n<p>JMBT believes that the educational, health, community building, and cultural value of ballet can be shared and enjoyed by everyone, benefiting constituents regardless of age, body type, or background\u2014economic or cultural.
