{"id":20523,"date":"2023-09-18T10:42:15","date_gmt":"2023-09-18T14:42:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/artsadmin\/?p=20523"},"modified":"2023-09-18T10:42:15","modified_gmt":"2023-09-18T14:42:15","slug":"pt-job-season-sales-associate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/artsadmin\/2023\/09\/18\/pt-job-season-sales-associate\/","title":{"rendered":"PT Job: Season Sales Associate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/artsadmin\/files\/2023\/09\/Jose-Mateo-Ballet-Theatre-636x382.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"636\" height=\"382\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-20531 aligncenter\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/artsadmin\/files\/2023\/09\/Jose-Mateo-Ballet-Theatre-636x382.png 636w, https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/artsadmin\/files\/2023\/09\/Jose-Mateo-Ballet-Theatre-1024x614.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/artsadmin\/files\/2023\/09\/Jose-Mateo-Ballet-Theatre-768x461.png 768w, https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/artsadmin\/files\/2023\/09\/Jose-Mateo-Ballet-Theatre-1536x922.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/artsadmin\/files\/2023\/09\/Jose-Mateo-Ballet-Theatre.png 2000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 636px) 100vw, 636px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Sales Associate is a part-time (15-20 hours a week), seasonal (October to December) position for a self-motivated individual with experience in sales.<!--more--> The Sales Associate will report to Managing Director and Marketing Associate and will manage group ticket sales, school-time performance ticket sales and program advertisement sales for JMBT\u2019s 2023 Nutcracker season.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sales\n<ul>\n<li>Receive and respond to all sales inquiries and ensure payments<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Cultivating relationships with new and previous group and school performance buyers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Program Ads\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee group\/school and program advertisement sales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Database Management\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Maintain database of current and potential sales opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Develop customer and advertiser lists<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Assist Marketing Associate in Nutcracker marketing efforts, including promotions, ticket<br \/>\ndiscounts, business partnerships, and more<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0On-site event support during the Nutcracker performance season \u2013 December 8-24, 2023<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1-2 years of sales experience<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking on the phone<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional writing and proofreading skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience with WordPress, Constant Contact, and Canva<\/li>\n<li>Exceptionally well organized with the ability to multitask<\/li>\n<li>A self-starter that can work independently<\/li>\n<li>Background in dance is preferable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation:<\/strong><br \/>\n$15 per hour, 15-25 hours per week during regular office hours 9-5 or 10-6.
