{"id":20342,"date":"2023-07-18T10:59:51","date_gmt":"2023-07-18T14:59:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/artsadmin\/?p=20342"},"modified":"2023-07-24T12:21:57","modified_gmt":"2023-07-24T16:21:57","slug":"internship-development-inter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/artsadmin\/2023\/07\/18\/internship-development-inter\/","title":{"rendered":"Internship: Development Intern"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"bannerContainer bannerContainer-contentWidth\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.emmanuelmusic.org\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1800\" height=\"1200\" src=\"\/artsadmin\/files\/2023\/07\/EM_TLBU_51-1.jpg\" class=\"size-full alignnone wp-image-20343\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/artsadmin\/files\/2023\/07\/EM_TLBU_51-1.jpg 1800w, https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/artsadmin\/files\/2023\/07\/EM_TLBU_51-1-636x424.jpg 636w, https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/artsadmin\/files\/2023\/07\/EM_TLBU_51-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/artsadmin\/files\/2023\/07\/EM_TLBU_51-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/artsadmin\/files\/2023\/07\/EM_TLBU_51-1-1536x1024.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1800px) 100vw, 1800px\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Emmanuel Music is actively seeking a Development Intern, who will be reporting to the Individual &amp; Institutional Giving Managers and works closely with the Executive Director.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Track and enter donations into AudienceView CRM<\/li>\n<li>Support grant research and tracking<\/li>\n<li>Draft and process donation acknowledgment letters<\/li>\n<li>Organize and digitize donor files<\/li>\n<li>Assist in maintaining Development calendar<\/li>\n<li>Support digital content creation for fundraising campaigns and regularly produced institutional messaging in conjunction with marketing department<\/li>\n<li>Participate in development and development-related meetings<\/li>\n<li>Provide administrative support for grant proposals and reporting, and corporate sponsorships, as needed<\/li>\n<li>Support and attend occasional Emmanuel Music events and performances, as needed<\/li>\n<li>Research project(s) related to donor prospecting, as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This internship is available for academic credit only.<\/p>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must currently be enrolled in a credit-granting course<\/li>\n<li>Must be interested in learning about the administrative work of nonprofit organizations<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with Google Workspace is preferred<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of\/interest in classical music, and performing arts is preferred<\/li>\n<li>Detail oriented<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are committed to providing a well-rounded and educational experience for all of our interns.
