Boston Arts Academy was founded as a pilot school by Boston\u2019s ProArts colleges in 1998, and it was dependent, from the start, on a combination of Boston Public Schools and private, philanthropic funding.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span> Today, Boston Arts Academy Foundation raises between 30-35% of the school\u2019s annual budget, as well as funding for college access and scholarships, special programs and urgent needs, specialized equipment, and an endowment \u2013 all to ensure that Boston Arts Academy is available to generations of students to come.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/hireculture.org\/jobdetails.aspx?job_id=45404\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>GIFT PROCESSING MANAGER<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"p_preview\"><b>DESCRIPTION<\/b><br \/>\nThe Gift Processing Manager is a Blackbaud Raiser\u2019s Edge intermediate-level database expert who will manage the gift life cycle operation, supervise gift processing, gift acknowledgment, financial reporting, and donor database hygiene and processes. Rewarding opportunity to help support amazing public arts education, creating life-changing experiences for the diverse and talented students of Boston Arts Academy.<\/p>\n<p>Hybrid work schedule available, office located in the Fenway neighborhood of Boston. Pay range $55,000-65,000.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the Raiser&#8217;s Edge NXT donor database, including data integrity, security, and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Develop queries, generate revenue reports, export data, and manipulate data using Raiser\u2019s Edge and Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Track quarterly goals, data analytics, and gift officers\u2019 progress.<\/li>\n<li>Prospect and research to support solicitations and fundraiser events.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct gift processing and recording with direct report, Gift Processing Coordinator.<\/li>\n<li>Steward donors with timely acknowledgments and informative communications about their gifts.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with donors about fulfilling gifts and pledges.<\/li>\n<li>Work with finance on monthly reconciliations and preparation of documents for the annual audit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"p_preview\"><b>QUALIFICATIONS<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent experience required.<\/li>\n<li>3 \u2013 5 years of relevant development, fundraising, or nonprofit experience.<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate proficiency in Blackbaud Raiser\u2019s Edge or comparable fundraising software is essential.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, in particular, Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Accounting knowledge is beneficial.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Greater Boston and surrounding communities is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Occasional evening and weekend assignments to support fundraising events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hireculture.org\/jobdetails.aspx?job_id=45403\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>DIRECTOR OF INSTITUTIONAL GIVING<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Director of Institutional Giving is a grant writer responsible for all aspects of solicitation and stewardship of philanthropic support from foundations, public grant funding, and federal grant opportunities. Maintain and\/or establish long-term partnerships with grant funders and foundation partners. This is a visible and rewarding opportunity to help support amazing public arts education, creating life-changing experiences for the diverse and talented students of Boston Arts Academy.<\/p>\n<p>Hybrid work schedule available, office located in the Fenway neighborhood of Boston.
