The History of Art & Architecture at Boston University 2018-2019 Lecture Series presents “The Moir\u00e9 Effect: Robert Rauschenberg, Print, and Interface<\/a>” with Jennifer Roberts from Radcliffe Institute of Advanced Study, Harvard University.<\/p>\n

Jennifer Roberts, Elizabeth Cary Agassiz Professor of the Humanities and Johnson-Kulukunkdis Family Faculty Director of the Arts at the Radcliffe Institute of Advanced Study, Harvard University. Focusing on Rauschenberg’s work of the 1970s as a key example, this lecture will trace the moir\u00e9 effect in its broad historical context as well as in its technical links to twentieth-century print and electronic technologies.<\/p>\n

Co-sponsored with the BU Initiative on Cities and the American & New England Studies Program, this event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
