We\u2019re asking current BU students to create a\u00a090-second film that tells the<span>\u00a0story of a person, place, thing, or idea that is creating impact.<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p>New ideas come in all shapes in sizes: new businesses, nonprofits, community service, advocacy, arts and culture projects, and more. Despite their differences on the outside, every new idea has at least\u00a0two things in common \u2013 they have their own story and seek to create impact.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you\u2019re studying film-making, inspired by a fellow BU Terrier or local changemaker, or you\u2019re working on an idea of your own, we want you to tell us a story of impact.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will have the chance to win a cash prize for the filmmaking team and for the featured subject of their film! Check out judging and prize details below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When:\u00a0May 1 \u2013 October, 11 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>May 1, 2018: Start by <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScCm8YEGSycC0uTMnqpeXpFXtGYFOFB-wcJEdb28LT_59Iw9w\/viewform?usp=sf_link\">registering for the Impact Film Competition<\/a> and get going! You have all summer to create your 90-second film.<\/li>\n<li>September 21, 2018:\u00a0Deadline to submit final films via <a href=\"https:\/\/filmfreeway.com\/InnovateatBUImpactFilmCompetition\" target=\"_blank\">Film Freeway<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>October 11, 2018 (to be confirmed):\u00a0Impact Film Competition\u00a0Screening Celebration, part of HubWeek 2018!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current BU students or a Class of 2018 graduate.
