She is currently a Curatorial Graduate Assistant for Lanfranco Aceti, Director of the Arts Administration program at BU. Laurel was an Intellectual Property Intern at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in the fall of 2017 and has been working in the rare and collectible book trade for nearly a decade at the Brattle Bookshop in Downtown Boston. An active volunteer for Brain Arts Organization and the Boston Hassle, Laurel has a strong desire to push and strengthen Boston\u2019s local arts scene. Since graduating in 2009 from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston with a focus in collage and painting, Laurel\u2019s artworks have been exhibited in a number of galleries and online exhibitions across the US, including Hera Gallery, one of the first women-founded gallery spaces in the US, where she is an artist member.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Arts Administration graduate program has opened my eyes to many behind-the-scenes issues of the art world today.
