The Boston University Arts Administration Student Association (AASA) was formed in the spring of 1995 to provide opportunities for social interaction, educational enrichment, and career development for Arts Administration students.<\/p>\n

Our mission is to cultivate a sense of community among Arts Administration students while creating educational enrichment and career development opportunities. As part of this mission, we work to help new students feel comfortable and confident from the moment they arrive.<\/p>\n

AASA looks to raise the profile of the Arts Administration program among industry professionals, as well as develop personal and professional relationships among students.<\/p>\n

Members are invited to join the committee that best suits their interests and skills. Please email buaasa@bu.edu<\/a> if you\u2019re interested in getting involved with our committees or for any inquiries.<\/p>\n

We hope that you will choose to lend your time and talents as an active member of AASA and join in our efforts to make the association a more visible part of the BU Arts Administration program and the arts community in Boston<\/p>\n

Interviews with Arts Administrators<\/em><\/h3>\n

We attend\u00a0the Lunar New Year celebration at the\u00a0MFA\u00a0for the second year, and\u00a0enjoyed their special activities and performances.<\/p>\n

In our first event as a new team of board members, we organized a group of eight people\u00a0to attend\u00a0the Lunar New Year celebration performance\u00a0at the\u00a0MFA and\u00a0enjoy their current exhibitions.<\/p>\n

Pub Night hosted in the BU Castle Fuller\u2019s Pub<\/em><\/h3>\n

Our program director, Dr. Douglas DeNatale, and Legal Issues professor, Michele Beasley, joined AASA\u00a0board members\u00a0and current students at the BU Pub. Both students and professors enjoyed the event!<\/p>\n
