When you think about great speeches, what comes to mind? What about that speech made it so great? Every day, speechwriters have the difficult task of writing speeches that not only capture the voice of the person giving the speech but also resonate with the audience they are addressing. In this conversation, we’ll discuss the art of speechwriting and the skills needed to be a good speechwriter. We will also look at speechwriting from a diverse and inclusive lens in how we recognize speechwriters from historically marginalized communities and provide ways to foster and mentor the next generation. This is a free event is virtual and open to the public.
