Tap is alive. A colorful exploration at the intersection of percussion and movement, BU on Tap aims to reveal the breadth of tap dancing to the public. Boston University's only tap dancing group is having their annual showcase Sunday April 14 @ 4pm in the Dance Theater at FitRec. According to Dance Informa, a local dance magazine, "BU on Tap demonstrates that tap is still very much alive, offering joy, a sense of rhythmic physicality, inventiveness and so much more." The showcase is an opportunity for BU on Tap to show the public their student and professionally taught choreography and invite other dance groups in the community to showcase their work as well. Through the show, we hope to educate the public about the diversity of dance, and inspire all to marvel at the artistic expression.
