Join us for a full day of wine and beer education at the Russell family’s prestigious winery and brewery in gorgeous Westport, Mass. At the winery, grower Rob Russell will walk guests into the vineyards to see and taste different grape varietals near harvest. He will explain cool-climate grape growing, and show examples of harvesting equipment. There will also be an exploration of winemaking, including the Méthode Champenoise process of creating bubbly. Lunch will be provided, paired with delicious Westport Rivers wines. Finally, a visit to Buzzards Bay Brewing will reveal how American-grown beers, such as IPAs and other ales, are brewed and bottled on a farm. Bill Russell, brewer, will guide guests through this experience.
