Why should I go?
Cool off this week with a sea breeze and enjoy live music at the Boston Harbor Hotel’s 23rd annual Summer in the City series. Held Tuesday through Friday, the hotel offers diners live entertainment on the water while they enjoy the al fresco dining options at the hotel’s Harborwalk Terrace and Rowes Wharf Sea Grille restaurants. The Summer in the City menu features a Mediterranean mezze collection, sushi, and desserts, along with drinks and cocktails.
Through the last week of August, the hotel is hosting themed entertainment nights featuring musical performances on a floating barge stage right in front of both restaurants. Tuesdays feature pop and soul music, Wednesday’s bands perform Rat Pack songs, and Thursdays are reserved for the blues. Tonight’s featured performers are a local band, Sugarbabies Inc.
Through the end of the event series, the hotel will also host Friday movie nights at dusk, projecting film onto a floating screen. This weekend’s movie is Crazy Rich Asians, with Guardians of the Galaxy playing the following week.
