Alene Bouranova is a Pacific Northwest native and a BU alum (COM’16). After earning a BS in journalism, she spent four years at Boston magazine writing, copyediting, and managing production for all publications. These days, she covers campus happenings, current events, and more for BU Today. Fun fact: she’s still using her Terrier card from 2013. When she’s not writing about campus, she’s trying to lose her Terrier card so BU will give her a new one. She lives in Cambridge with her plants. Profile

There are 10 comments on New Plan B Vending Machine in GSU Dispenses Low-Cost Emergency Contraceptives to the BU Community

  1. I’ve never heard of the plan B vending machine, but as a mom of 2 daughters, one heading to BU in the fall, it’s nice to know this is available if needed.

    Great work SRF students!

  2. While not in the category to need Plan B, I am very proud that SRF was able to do this at BU! This is particularly important when various states are in the process of eliminating the right to determine what is right for the individual.

  3. Just want to clarify that Plan B is a brand name, and is not that brand that is available in the vending machine. This is an Emergency Contraception Vending Machine, not a Plan B Vending machine.

So excited that this resource is available!
