  1. The photo of the two Tibetan children laughing in the rain is so special. I wish the photographer provided one sentence about the social context they are in because that would’ve highlighted the specialness of the children’s joy in the picture. These two children likely won’t learn their Tibetan language, will grow up without freedom and rights to religion and self-expression, and live in an occupied country. Free Tibet. People profiting off of or otherwise using Tibetan people without acknowledging their struggles and context, even with just one sentence, is really hurtful, especially from someone of a Chinese background [Ziyu (Julian) Zhu].
