Why should I go?
Tonight’s theatrical performance promises to serve up romance, nostalgia, humor, and joy. History Cambridge (formerly the Cambridge Historical Society) and the Central Square Business Improvement District did a shout-out, asking locals to submit love letters to the city of Cambridge. They encouraged people to comb through old diaries and search attics and basements for letters they may have written in the past to someone they fell in love with in Cambridge, or to write new love letters expressing what the city and its institutions mean to them.
Actors from the acclaimed nonprofit improvisational theater company ImprovBoston will bring those letters to life during tonight’s outdoor performance. So, if you love Cambridge, order a ticket and head over to Central Square for a heartfelt evening. Can’t make it tonight? No worries. Starlight Square will present Cambridge Love Letters again on Tuesday, August 10, at 7 pm.
