Tell Us the One Holiday Tradition You Missed in 2020 and Hope to Resume This Year
Share your story for a BU Today holiday piece
Last year’s holidays were upended by COVID-19. Nobody had been vaccinated, and people were nervous about gathering indoors and infecting grandparents or children—or being infected themselves. This year it’s different. The pandemic is not over, but vaccines are widely available, transmissions are down, and some normalcy is returning.
So we’d like you to tell us about the holiday tradition or family gathering you missed the most in 2020 and are looking forward to resuming this year. Keep your answers to 200 words—and make it personal. Feel free to send photos illustrating the tradition or gathering you hope to resume.
Email your responses to today@bu.edu by Friday, December 5. Be sure to include your email, cell phone number, school and grad year (if a student), and title (if faculty or staff). Our story will run in mid-December.
