There are 4 comments on Caring for a Loved One with Dementia? BU Neurologists’ New Book Offers Guidance

  1. I understand that the care giver has needs. The person who has the disease also has needs too. I am at the beginning stage of the disease. I already see that I am being pushed aside. I would like to know if other people feel that way . Is there a meeting for us? Or just for the people who have to deal with us..

  2. Dealing with my husband who is 78 and had 3 strokes. He was always self maintaining even after strokes a few years ago but a lot of stress this year has brought this dementia on rather rapidly. I am 75 but have arthrist and some days just down right miserable dealing with him. I get mean & sad because no one to help me. Family doesnt care or help because they can not face the facts that we are old and needy now. Just reading info from you has helped me to understand what I am doing wrong with his care. Thankyou .
