  1. Kudos to Mr. Reydler for his hard work and entrepreneurial spirit! As cost may be a concern for many, please note that BU’s Educational Resource Center offers free tutoring in about 100 courses, most of which are at the 100- to 200-level in sciences, math, and foreign languages. ERC tutors have also done very well in the courses for which they tutor and are faculty-recommended. They go through a rigorous training regimen that teaches them how to lead a discussion and how to explain complex course material. They also receive the support and guidance of our professional staff to ensure that their tutoring is effective and of the highest quality. Visit the ERC’s web site (bu.edu/erc) to learn more.

  2. What a great and innovative idea! I am happy to see that it is working for students who are able to afford it. Wouldn’t it be nice if students who have been helped by it and can afford it could pay it forward and have a way to donate a bit to a fund that could subsidize tutoring for students who need it but can’t afford the service? Just a thought. Kind of like a “Venmo” button in the app.
