There is 1 comment on Tributes: Rev. Gil Caldwell (GRS’55, Hon.’59), Robert Trump (DGE’68, CAS’72)

  1. I had the honor of meeting Rev. Caldwell on several occasions as he was a very active alumnus. For example in 2015 he co-hosted an STH screening of the 2014 film “Selma”. Gil’s documentary “From Selma to Stonewall : Are We There Yet?” (available on Prime Video) was shown during Alumni Weekend in 2016 followed by a Q&A with him. Gil also spoke to students at the Howard Thurman Center and in various STH classes. Despite his very busy schedule he always found time for BU – a very loyal alum! A brief video including interviews with Gil is below.

Gil also found time to write 4 books including “What Mean These Stones?”. May he rest in peace.
