  1. I’m a faculty member. How exactly is the restriction on remote class participation supposed to work? Am I going to have to ban students from Zoom if they’re not compliant? How will I even know what their status is? Right now I only know a student’s status if I check their badge in the classroom. I have absolutely no idea what the compliance status of my remote students is (unless they tell me). I’ve heard absolutely nothing about this policy from the administration.

    1. Keeping people in the dark (staff, faculty and students) seems to be how BU is changing into more and more draconian responses to COVID; ironically nothing they are doing will do anything to stem the rate of infection and my fear is that they think these measures are perfectly reasonable.
