  1. It is great to see research geared at autistic adolescents and young adults. Too often, people tend to think of autism as a childhood disorder, when the reality is that autistic children become autistic adults, and there is not nearly enough research geared at interventions or preparation for that transition.

    I would also like to thank the author of the article for using identity-first language, which the vast majority of the autistic community prefers, instead of person-first language.
