BU Student Clubs and Organizations Find Ways to Stay Connected, at a Distance
Not even a pandemic can stop BU’s vibrant campus life. Since the 2020 spring semester switched to remote teaching and learning, many BU student-run clubs and organizations have stayed in touch via Zoom, holding meetings, planning for the fall, or just checking in to see how everyone was holding up while social distancing. During the final three weeks, BU Today visited the Zoom meetings of seven of them for a peek at how they were staying active while scattered across the globe. Whether it was Stage Troupe doing a staged reading of a Greek tragedy or the Women’s Synchronized Skating Club holding a vigorous remote workout, students, staff, and club advisors found ingenious ways to stay connected.
