There are 5 comments on CTE Risk More Than Doubles after Just Three Years of Playing Football

  1. Are all the findings just former NFL players or players from college, high school, etc… Has any link been established playing lower levels of football?

  2. I have read and watch several documents and documentaries on CTE. I have been playing sports since I was 4 years old. I loved it!!! I am 48 years old with 2 divorces under my belt. I am currently married for the third time. Things are not so great because of all the signs of CTE. I HAVE BEEN SCREAMING FOR HELP THE LAST 15 YEARS OF MY LIFE. I do believe I can convince my current wife I have CTE. I just hope she can endure the loss of my short term memory, mood swings, loss of comprehension of words and so on. I feel the anger but I can control it by venting or making a joke. All these are getting worse as I get older.

  3. Hello,My grandson played football as early as 8 years old . In his teen age years he suffered a awful injury . He didn’t say anything to his mother or father .he stayed quiet in his room .He was injured bad ,he didn’t come out of his room until he had no choice. I later found out he was afraid to say anything fearing he wouldn’t be able to play the sport he loved. when my daughter saw him ,he had to be taken to the hospital. When I spoke with him over the phone ,without anyone telling me he was injured , through his voice his voice I knew something was wrong . He needs help as I ‘m writing this to you .Please Help.
