  1. To have a roof over our head and not be burdened with astronomical rental fees – is a blessing. May this village thrive, may the folks who live find happiness in their new found homes. Here’s to non-profit organizations like Cass who are thinking and innovating ways to help with the housing issues that abound. May God bless you all.

  2. This is great idea. All over America need to do more tiny houses like this. Any way that the author can let me know how the City of Detroit charge for permit cost on each house? That is a very important key that can control the cost of building these house.

  3. I love this idea and I’d love to see these tiny-home communities opened to every socio-economic group, in addition to those who may have been homeless or will be in the future. We are all struggling paying half of our income to rent. I’d love to start a community like this is my town to help people. I’d live in a tiny home in a heartbeat as I spend my summers in a 16-foot Coleman trailer and love it!

  4. Hello Tiny homes community,
My Name is Harriet Crawford , and I first seen the tiny homes in Detroit in 2018 , I truly love them when I first saw them , and the wonderful stories behind the Tiny homes is remarkable in it self , helping people in need of housing have a place to come home to , simply amazing .

Thank you for the humble work that’s being in Detriot.

  5. I think this is a fabulous idea! I’m sure it makes people that desperately need help starting out a wonderful feeling. What a great way to get people on their feet.

Thank you for all the hard work you do for the tiny community.
