SDM Professor George Gallagher is honored for contributions to dental education
Professor of Oral Pathology George Gallagher was awarded for his contributions to dental education.
Professor of Oral Pathology George Gallagher recently received an award that recognized his contributions to dental education.
The American Dental Education Association presented Gallagher with the annual ADEA/GlaxoSmithKline Sensodyne Excellence in Teaching Award, which recognizes dental educators who “promote excellence through scholarship and innovation.” Recipients are creative teachers who motivate and mentor their students.
“The credit for the award should be shared by my colleagues in oral pathology who provide me with daily advice and encouragement, and with the many people in the school who make BU a supportive environment for students and faculty in dental education,” said Gallagher, who is also program director of the Advanced Dental Education Program in Oral Pathology.
