Two Goldman School of Dental Medicine students recently took first and second place at the 31st annual Yankee Dental Congress Student Table Clinics for their clinical research presentations.

Michael Hoge (SDM’07) won first place for his presentation Doxycycline Affects Diet-  and Bacteria-Associated Atherosclerosis in an ApOE Heterozygote Murine Model: Implications for Cytokine Profiling. Jean-David Sebaoun (SDM’07) received the second place award for his research titled Rapid Tooth Movement After Selective Alveolar Decortication in the Rat.

The Yankee Dental Congress, an annual winter education and exhibition opportunity for dentists nationwide, is the largest dental conference in New England and the fifth largest in the United States. It hosts Student Table Clinics for Boston University, Tufts University, and Harvard University students.
