Artist Talk: Paul Emmanuel

The Artist Talk will take place on Wednesday, February 3, 12:30pm at Boston University School of Visual Arts Room 500 (855 Commonwealth Ave).

Organized in conjunction with the exhibition Paul Emmanuel: Remnants, this artist talk by Paul Emmanuel will focus on his artistic practices and his exploration of various media to reveal layered visions concerned with his identity living in the post-apartheid nation. Among other topics, Emmanuel will discuss his ongoing Lost Men project, a series of site-sensitive elegiac counter-memorials installed, to date, in public spaces in South Africa, Mozambique, and France.
