ARROWS Student Organization Grants | Undergraduate & Graduate Programs
ARROWS Student Organization Grants provide funds for innovative new ideas, events, projects, collaborations or activities which advance BU’s women STEM students and/or advance diversity, equity & inclusion across the University more broadly.
Funds are awarded in up to three different amounts:
- Up to $400: For activities specifically supporting women in STEM
- Up to $300: For activities supporting diversity and inclusion in STEM more broadly
- Up to $150: For activities supporting diversity and inclusion across BU more broadly

Eligibility
- Applications must be submitted by executive board member(s) of a student group officially recognized by the University or in the process of gaining official recognition. Proposed activities may be primarily organized by students outside an officially recognized student group, but require a commitment of support from an officially recognized student group if the application is successful.
- Groups may only submit one application per year. (This does not include a proposed collaborative project between multiple student groups, or activities with a commitment of support from a group.)
- Grants may be used for: Conference travel/lodging, organizing events, etc.
- Grants may not be used for: Personal income, alcohol at events
- Groups must submit a post-activity report three weeks after the completion of their funded activities. Click here to submit your report.
