What have you been doing since you’ve graduated?<\/strong><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nSince I’ve graduated, I have received a certificate in aerial dance from Frequent Flyers. I have also studied and received a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from San Francisco, where I cataloged and digitized the university’s ancient coin collection and focused my studies on the management of ancient coin collections in American museums. I also focused on digitization and techniques in the digital humanities focused on increasing accessibility to museum collections. I have been in the museum field for 5 years and am currently the Collections Information Specialist for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Classical Archaeology, where I will continue to pursue a study in the Mediterranean Bronze Age, numismatics, and the digital humanities. I intend to use my eclectic expertise to continue my career in cultural heritage. I also serve as a board member of the Museum Studies Special Interest Group for San Francisco State University and am a co-chair for the Visual Resources Emerging Professionals and Student Interest Group at the Visual Resources Association, where I develop programming for emerging and current professionals. I am very passionate about supporting and informing emerging professionals in the cultural heritage fields.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
How did your experience in the program shape your professional and personal life?<\/strong><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nMy experience in the program has provided me with unique skills in methodology and management that laid the foundation for my museum career.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
What interactions with members of the Archaeology faculty did you value most during your time in the program?<\/strong><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
