Historical archaeology, prostitution, 19th<\/sup>-century urbanism, feminist theory, gender and sexuality, identity, archaeology of the senses<\/p>\n My dissertation work examines the 27\/29 Endicott Street brothel privy collection. I am particularly interested in trying to understand the daily lived experiences of the brothel through theories in sexuality and embodiment, and utilizing theories concerned with archaeology of the senses.
