In January 2021, the University named Sujin Pak, a Protestant Reformation scholar and advocate of modern inclusiveness, the new dean of the School of Theology. Pak arrived by way of Duke University’s Divinity School, her alma mater, where she started bold, new curricular initiatives and made welcoming LGBTQIA+ students, faculty, and staff a priority. STH is BU’s oldest school, with roots dating back to 1839.
