Gabriella Treglia, is lecturer at Durham University where she specializes in twentieth-century Native American socio-cultural history. She is preparing a book on the Indian New Deal (1933-1945).<\/em><\/p>\n

Kate Dossett\u00a0is Senior Lecturer in American History at Leeds University. Her book,\u00a0<\/em>Bridging Race Divides: Black Nationalism, Feminism and Integration 1896-1935\u00a0was published in 2008.<\/em><\/p>\n

Alex Goodall\u00a0is lecturer in Modern History at the University of York (and will be moving shortly to University College, London). His book<\/em>\u00a0Loyalty and Liberty: American Countersubversion from World War I to the McCarthy Era\u00a0has just been published by the University of Illinois Press.<\/em><\/p>\n

Stephen Tuck<\/em>\u00a0is University Lecturer in American History at Oxford University. His books include\u00a0<\/em>We Ain\u2019t What We Ought To Be: The Black Freedom Struggle from Emancipation to Obama and<\/em>\u00a0Beyond Atlanta: The Struggle for Racial Equality in Georgia, 1940-1980.<\/p>\n

Clive Webb<\/em>\u00a0is Professor of Modern American History at the University of Sussex. His books include\u00a0<\/em>Fight against fear: Southern Jews and Black Civil Rights\u00a0and<\/em>\u00a0Rabble Rousers: the American Far Right in the Civil Rights Era.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Dominic Sandbrook\u00a0is the author of four books on Britain since the 1950s, most recently the Sunday Times bestseller<\/em>\u00a0Seasons in the Sun, and two books of American history.<\/em> Currently Visiting Professor at King\u2019s College London and a Daily Mail columnist, he is best known for his BBC television documentaries on the 1970s and the Cold War.<\/em><\/p>\n

Gareth Davies<\/em>\u00a0is University Lecturer in American History at the University of Oxford. His books include\u00a0<\/em>See Government Grow: Education Politics from Johnson to Reagan\u00a0and\u00a0<\/em>From Opportunity to Entitlement: The Transformation and Decline of Great Society Liberalism.<\/p>\n

Sylvia Ellis<\/em>\u00a0is Professor of International History at Northumbria University. Her books include\u00a0<\/em>Freedom\u2019s\u00a0Pragmatist: Lyndon Johnson and the Civil Rights Movement\u00a0and<\/em>\u00a0Britain, America and the Vietnam War.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Jonathan Bell<\/em>\u00a0is Head of the History Department at the University of Reading. His books include\u00a0<\/em>Social democracy and the rise of the Democratic party in California, 1950-1964\u00a0and\u00a0<\/em>The Liberal State on Trial: the Cold War and American Politics in the Truman Years.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Andrew Fearnley<\/em>\u00a0is Lecturer in Modern American History at the University of Manchester.\u00a0His particular interests are the history of racial thought, African American intellectual history, and the history of medicine.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Dan Matlin<\/em>\u00a0is\u00a0Lecturer in the History of the United States of America since 1865\u00a0at King\u2019s College London. His book\u00a0<\/em>On the Corner: African-American Intellectuals and the Urban Crisis\u00a0was published last year by Harvard.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Simon Hall<\/em>\u00a0is Senior Lecturer in American History at Leeds University.
