Alcohol, Other Drugs, and Health: Current Evidence<\/em> is a free online newsletter summarizing the latest clinically relevant research on substance use and health. Through summaries of important alcohol and other drug research published in peer-reviewed journals, downloadable teaching presentations, and feature articles on substance use research ethics, the newsletter provides valuable information to improve clinical teaching, practice, and research. Meet John Fomeche, MD, our 2025 ACAAM\/AOD Health <\/em>Rich Saitz Editorial Intern! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Fomeche is an Addiction Medicine Fellow at Yale University and a recent graduate of  Stamford Hospital Internal Medicine Residency. Born in Cameroon and raised in Arizona, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona and studied abroad in Singapore before attending medical school in Poland.
