Dr. Jacob Bor is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Global Health (primary) and Epidemiology. His research applies the analytical tools of economics to the study of population health. His research interests include the population health impacts of social policies, causal inference in public health research, and global HIV treatment and prevention. His prior work includes a study on the mental health impacts of police killings on Black Americans and studies of policy impacts on health disparities. His work has been published in Science, Lancet, PLOS Medicine, and other journals.
