Dawn Belkin Martinez, PhD, LICSW, is a clinical associate professor and associate dean of equity and inclusion at the Boston University School of Social Work. She is the co-author of the book Social Justice in Clinical Practice: A Liberation Health Framework for Social Work and co-developed a theory and method for anti-racist/anti-oppressive clinical practice. Dawn is one of the founding members of the Boston Liberation Health Group and gives presentations locally, nationally, and internationally about her work with liberation health theory, immigrant families, anti-oppressive practice, and social justice.
